Patrick Sommerstad

Portfolio Manager

Patrick Sommerstad serves as a Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Committee, responsible for overseeing trading operations and guiding market research and risk management for many of the Firm’s investment solutions. With a focus on active investment solutions, Patrick plays a central role in trade execution and modeling.

Patrick has over 16 years of financial services experience and brings a wealth of knowledge surrounding portfolio management from his previous experience working in the pension and endowment field. He previously spent 10 years at Cargill, Inc., managing its pension, foundation, and 401k plans, as well as serving as a Senior Manager at its former hedge fund subsidiary.

Patrick graduated magna cum laude in Finance and Economics from the University of St. Thomas and holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business. Patrick holds a Series 65 license.
